Net Energy Metering |

We, Energy Specialists Hawaii, Inc. can guide you through an agreement with HELCO or your local utility to connect your PV system to the utility grid, allowing you to export surplus electricity generated during the day to the grid. Net energy metering means that any kilowatt-hours your PV system feeds to the grid will be subtracted from the kilowatt-hours of electricity you obtain from your utility to determine the net amount of kilowatt-hours you will be be billed for. Ideally your utility bill well be zero each month so that even with conventional financing, you will realize a positive cash flow(your monthly loan payments on the system will be less than your current monthly electrical bill) from the very first month.
